Our Staff

We are extremely proud of our excellent staff of teachers and directors! Our staff is part of the consistent care provided by Kids ‘R’ Kids.

All Kids ‘R’ Kids faculty & personnel are required to follow state regulations that apply to training. Our staff is trained in First Aid/CPR, Infectious Disease Control, Injury Prevention, and Child Abuse Awareness. Additional training in curriculum, child development, classroom arrangement, classroom management, age appropriate activities, nutrition, field trip planning and OSHA regulations to provide the staff with skills needed to create a quality learning environment. The staff is encouraged to further their education through CDA and CCP programs and are given opportunities to attend professional training conferences.

Stacy Richey is our Director of Education & Staff Development. She has been with the school for three years as a part of the management team. She monitors Curriculum implentation, staff training and development of your children. Stacy currently holds a National Child Development Associate and a Director’s Credential.  She began her career in 1997 at a small center in Huntsville, AL as a Toddler Teacher. While there, she began courses in Early Childhood and decided she wanted to be more than just a teacher. After some college credits and field experience, she was offered a position as a Mentor Teacher at Premier Schools. At Premier Schools, she assisted the school at becoming accredited through SAC and continued to become the Assistant Director. In 2006, the Richey family relocated to Florida where she worked as a part of a Management at a large preschool. While working there, she became pregnant with her second child, now a family of four, she was looking for more. This is when she found a new position at Kids R Kids as a Curriculum Coordinator. Kids R Kids was more of a family atmosphere and she felt she could make a difference and grow more professionally. For the past year, Stacy has been the Director of Education and Staff Development at Kids R Kids. She strives to make a difference in the way we see Early Childhood Development by ensuring that the teachers are continuing to grow into Professionals and the children and families of Valrico are getting the best possible early education.

Cara Munch is our Director of Operations. She is responsible for the front end operations dealing with parents, vendors and all aspects of managing a school. She is resident of Riverhiils and has 2 children. Her infant and school age children attend Kids R Kids.  She graduated with a B.S from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut where she played lacross. She then pursued a masters in education and prior to moving to Florida, she attained an A.S in education. She has been a Director of several large childcare centers since 2001 and enjoys every moment working with children.
